About Us

Pacific Sports and Spine in Eugene, Oregon, is an innovative practice that uses the latest treatments and techniques to help people living with musculoskeletal pain. Interventional pain specialists Gregory Moore, MD, Gregory Phillips, MD, and Rishi Vora, DO, lead the practice's expert team. With two triple boarded physicians, Pacific Sports and Spine offers innovative, cutting edge procedures, including some for which only a few physicians have training.

Conditions that the compassionate team treats include complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), facet joint syndrome, headaches and migraines, and sports injuries. They also offer expert diagnosis and customized treatment programs for patients with painful back and neck problems, including herniated discs, sciatica, and spinal stenosis, as well as joint pain and osteoarthritis.

Pacific Sports and Spine offers an extensive range of treatments, including steroid and hyaluronic acid joint injections and regenerative medicine techniques such as stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The team uses cutting edge image guidance technology to deliver epidural steroid injections and nerve blocks (including medial branch and celiac plexus blocks), as well as radiofrequency ablation.

They also perform many minimally invasive procedures, including kyphoplasty for vertebral compression fractures, spinal cord stimulator implantation, the Intracept® Procedure for chronic low back pain, the Vertiflex™ Superion™ indirect decompression system for lumbar spinal stenosis, and the LinQ™ system for sacroiliac joint fusion.

Pacific Sports and Spine provides the most comprehensive interventional pain management facilities in Eugene and the Willamette Valley region of Southern Oregon. It offers a one-year fellowship program to ensure other physicians receive specialty training in the advanced techniques they use. The practice also runs clinical trials to advance the science of treating pain, in which some patients may be able to participate.
