Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)

This is a type of chronic, long-lasting, severe pain. Most often, a burning or pins-and-needles pain develops in an arm or leg that has been injured. Sometimes, the pain spreads to other parts of the body. Symptoms may also include sensitivity to touch, abnormal sweating, changes in your hair and/or nails and/or problems moving your limb. CRPS is most common in those ages 20-35, but it can also occur in children and affects women more often than men. There is no cure, but treatment options may provide relief. Watch this video.

Plantar Fasciitis

This condition develops as an irritation of the plantar fascia. This thick band of connective tissue travels across the bottom of the foot between the toes and the heel and supports the foot’s natural arch.
