Plantar Fasciitis

This condition develops as an irritation of the plantar fascia. This thick band of connective tissue travels across the bottom of the foot between the toes and the heel and supports the foot’s natural arch. Plantar fasciitis may cause a stabbing pain in the heel of the foot that is typically worse in the morning. A variety of treatment options are available.
